Around 10% of the EU citizen population in the UK chose to become British. Many Europeans want to become citizens of the UK, but they face many barriers. There is limited public information for Europeans on citizenship, especially for younger people. How much does the whole process cost? Can I have dual nationality? How will this impact on my identity?
This session organised by the3million’s Young Europeans’ Network will demystify the process and host a discussion about what does citizenship mean to all of us living in the UK. All panellists will be young Europeans with different lived experiences of the immigration system and areas of expertise.
This event is part of our new campaign #GlobalBrits, which is a young Europeans-led campaign promoting a more positive, inclusive and accessible UK citizenship for all migrants.
