Smashing Stereotypes: Hidden Contributions of Young People during Covid-19

You are warmly welcomed to join YouthLink Scotland & NHS Lothian for an online webinar on Wednesday 18th November as part of our #IWill Week Power of Youth Festival. In this webinar you will hear directly from young volunteers themselves and NHS Lothian volunteer manager, Kirsten Law on:

  • How young volunteers at NHS Lothian have been contributing to the pandemic in hospital settings.
  • What the benefits have been to the young people and the organisation.
  • What challenges and barriers had to be overcome and the lessons learnt for others to take away.

The webinar willalso Introduce the new #IWill Scotland Power of Youth Charter and how your organisation can get involved.

There will be an opportunity to ask the speakers any questions at the end of the webinar.

#IWill Scotland is a cross-sector movement, we work with organisations across all sectors in Scotland including youth work, voluntary orgs, health & social care, business, environment and schools & colleges.

This webinar will be relevant to organisations and practitioners who are either already working with young people in healthcare settings (12-25 yrs) or who would like to explore how they can work with young people in the future.

The Zoom link for this session will be sent to you closer to the date.

We look forward to seeing you there!
