Ella Cox
Assistant Programme Director at Debate Mate
Ella is an Assistant Programme Director at Debate Mate, having taken a year out from Yale University, of which she is double majoring in English Literature and Political Science and will graduate in 2022.
Prior to Yale, Ella studied at Bridge Academy, Hackney and has been involved with Debate Mate since she was 12. She was a finalist at the Debate Mate Cup, won the Urban Debate League and was first reserve on the England National Debating team, making her one of the top six debaters in the country.
Ella has also mentored for Debate Mate all over the world and in her spare time, Ella mentors low-income high school students through the US college admissions system.
